On November 25, 2025, the seventh China-Russia Energy Business Forum was held in Beijing. President?Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the forum.
Xi Jinping noted that China-Russia energy cooperation began early with a solid foundation, and has become a model of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides. It has played an active role in promoting the economic and social development of both countries and improving the wellbeing of their peoples.
Xi Jinping emphasized that China is ready to work with Russia to continuously strengthen their comprehensive energy cooperation partnership, jointly safeguard the stability and smooth flow of the global energy industrial and supply chains, and help build a fairer and more?just, balanced, and inclusive global energy governance system, injecting greater stability into global energy security and the green and low-carbon transition.
On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin also sent a congratulatory letter to the seventh China-Russia Energy Business Forum.
